  • Mosaic Plagiarism: Patching together phrases from different sources without citation (ChatGPT, 2025).

  • Accidental Plagiarism: Failing to cite sources properly due to oversight or lack of knowledge (ChatGPT, 2025).

Techniques to Avoid Plagiarism

  1. Understand Proper Citation Styles
    Different fields use different citation styles like APA, MLA, Chicago, and Harvard. Familiarizing yourself with the required format ensures correct attribution of sources (ChatGPT, 2025).

  2. Paraphrase Effectively
